Float Serve Volleyball
Float Serve Volleyball is sanctioned by the AVP and sponsored by Wilson
2010 Grass Events will be conducted in Long Beach at Marina Vista Park.

Grass Tournament Start Time AND Check-In & Registration Start Time

  • All grass tournaments start at 10:00 am..
  • Check-in and registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 9:45 a.m.
  • Depending on the circumstances, teams arriving after 10:00 could forfeit their first game.

    Grass Tournament Locations

  • Marina Vista Park in Long Beach.
  • FREE PARKING....PLENTY OF SHADE.... Divisions
  • "A" division, which is upper level play (advanced)
  • "B" division, which is lower than "A" (intermediate) Tournament Format
  • Pool play with single-elimination playoffs.
  • ALL pool play matches consist of 2 games minimum (with exception to 5 team pools. 5 team pools are only used as a last resort)

    Grass Rules

  • USA Volleyball 2010/2011 Beach/Grass Rules, this includes short court, antenna, rally score, etc.
  • Uniforms are not required
  • Unless notated as "REVERSE CO-ED," all Co-ed tournaments are regular Co-ed, with the net at men's height

    • Registration
    Pre-registered and pre-paid teams only! You can register at the tournament, but you need to call 562-394-7125 FIRST before showing up!

    Team Registration Fees

  • Grass 2's: $50 per team
  • Grass 4's: $60 per team
  • No refund for "no-shows"

    Prizes
    Prizes are awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams.

    FREE Bottled Water
    You don't need to bring water. Tournaments have FREE bottled water for participants!

    Lunch from Ma & Pa Grocery (Grass Tournaments)
    You don't need to bring food to the grass tournaments. Just place your order with me at check-in, then Ma & Pa's Grocery will deliver:

    1. $7 for Ham Sandwich, soda, chips, and cookie
    2. $7 for Turkey Sandwich, soda, chips, and cookie
    3. $7 for Roastbeef Sandwich, soda, chips, and cookie
    4. $7 for Hamburger, french fries, and soda
